DMP commenced community police service in different parts of the city, with a view to involve the community in the criminal administration and traffic control system. DMP trains a good number of local youths in order to guard the locality at night combined with police and to assist the traffic police for the smooth movement of vehicles.

DMP provides its assistance to the authorities concern in occasions, like Vaccination Day, Women’s Day, Tobacco Free Day and Aids Day for the convenient success of these events.
